Mother Nature's Husband???

My latest post & conversation on Facebook:

Jen Kerns +++++++++++positivity++++++++POSITIVITY+++++++++++++! Ok, so here is the situation: I was talking about something in basketball practice today and Niki (my teammate) blamed it on Mother Nature (the weather).....I thought, man every time something goes wrong or strange, people ALWAYS blame it on Mother Nature…..she gets a bad rep!

Here is the Question: Who is Mother Nature's Husband? ANYONE HAVE A GUESS?

Jen Kerns

I thought about it for 10 minutes (during my U13 practice) and my guess to my own question is.....Mother Nature's husband must be Father Time.

Niki K. I was thinking about that Mother Nature thing..and in German "time" is feminine (die Zeit), so IF mother nature's husband was father time, in German she would be in a homosexual relationship! :D I don't know why I start thinking about these random things?! :D

Jen Kerns
Niki, this is a brilliant anwser to my question.....and well thought out! However, in English Father Time IS masculine therefore we are confined (in English) to the traditional relationship situation.....I always knew the Germans were deep thinkers!

According to European mythology two male figures would qualify as potential husbands for mother nature. Both the Scandinavian god Thor and the Greco god Zeus were highly influential on the weather and known as womanizers. However, Mother Nature would embody more than just the weather. Nature also includes all forms of live and the earth itself, ... See More hence the saying: “from the bosom of the earth”(supporting the statement that this planet is female). Being that the earth gravitates around the sun and life cannot be possible without either of them. My guess would be the actual husband of Mother Nature is not to be found here, but rather is the sun itself.

Jen Kerns Nice google job Jesse!.....but I must say, you are VERY good @ doing your homework....and in a timely fashion! Gotta love people that use their resources....especially when the resource is their brain! Much Love Baby!......Jesse thinks he is really smart, but I gotta call him out sometimes……it’s all about the Google search!

You better be careful about the way you speak about Mother Nature!

"So if you think you can build a better Mother, let it go...cuz, nature already nailed it 16 million years ago!"
